Do not manufacture payload by subtracting unrelated catalogue endpoints

Start with the truck's vehicle-specific payload label. Subtract the actual occupants, tools, cargo, accessories added after completion, hitch equipment and realistic tongue or pin load. Gas and Duramax payloads must not be ranked from engine weight alone

The Duramax drivetrain is heavier than a comparable gas powertrain, but payload still depends on the paired GVWR and every installed feature.
