What changes the payment
Purchase price, down payment, trade value, term, interest rate, taxes and fees all matter.
DIESEL TRUCK TOOL
Estimate monthly payment and total borrowing cost using your own purchase assumptions.
Purchase price, down payment, trade value, term, interest rate, taxes and fees all matter.
A longer term may lower the payment while increasing total borrowing cost.
Confirm whether the loan is open or closed, all fees, prepayment rules and the total obligation before accepting.
The tool subtracts the entered down payment or trade value from price, then calculates equal monthly payments over the entered term using the annual rate divided by twelve. At a zero rate, the amount financed is divided by the number of months. The result excludes taxes, fees and contract-specific provisions.
Enter a trade’s net contribution after any outstanding balance rather than its gross value. Use the lender’s actual amount financed and terms when comparing a real offer. Estimated total payments describe repayment of the financed amount; they do not include the initial down payment.
