Crew Cab SRW trucks appear with standard or long beds and 2WD or 4x4. Chevrolet prints 16,000-lb gas conventional ratings and 20,000-lb Duramax conventional ratings throughout these displayed positions. The in-bed values still change with bed, drive, engine and High Country equipment.
The highest Crew Cab SRW in-bed rating is 22,070 lb for the long-bed 2WD Duramax. The 2025 long-bed 4x4 Duramax cell is 21,490 lb, while the standard-bed High Country Duramax is 21,300 lb. Those small differences are why an adjacent-year or same-cab shortcut is unsafe.

Crew Cab long-bed DRW ratings
Every Crew Cab dually position in the 2025 pickup matrix uses the long bed. The Duramax rows are 20,000 lb conventionally and 31,440 lb in-bed for 2WD or 31,000 lb for 4x4. Gas values are lower and, on the 2WD row, the in-bed cell is 18,230 lb versus 18,200 lb conventionally.
High Country is printed as a distinct 4x4 DRW row. Its gas ratings are 17,600 lb for both hitch columns, while its Duramax ratings are 20,000 lb conventional and 30,900 lb in-bed. That row does not authorize a deduction to be applied to another trim or configuration.

Double Cab long-bed ratings
The 2025 Double Cab matrix is long-bed only. SRW conventional ratings are 16,000 lb with the gas V8 and 20,000 lb with the Duramax. Combined gooseneck/fifth-wheel values range from 18,310 to 21,900 lb across those four engine rows.

Regular Cab ratings and the hitch split
Regular Cab is long-bed only in the 2025 pickup table. The 2WD SRW Duramax reaches 22,430 lb in-bed; the 4x4 SRW Duramax is 22,040 lb. Gas partners are 19,080 and 18,700 lb respectively, and all four displayed SRW conventional cells are 14,500 lb.

GVWR and GCWR select the row; they are not trailer capacity
The 2025 table pairs configuration-specific GVWR values with 26,000-, 30,000-, 40,000-, 43,500- and 43,900-lb GCWR branches. GVWR limits the loaded truck; GCWR limits the loaded truck and trailer together. Neither is interchangeable with the maximum trailer-weight column.
The 43,500- and 43,900-lb GCWR lines occur only on the marked Regular Cab 2WD DRW Duramax branch. The other diesel dually rows use 40,000 lb GCWR, while the displayed Duramax SRW rows use 30,000 lb. Matching only the engine and axle layout is not enough.

Tongue or kingpin load can become the practical limit first
Chevrolet recommends conventional trailer tongue weight of 10–15 percent of loaded trailer weight and gooseneck or fifth-wheel kingpin weight of 15–25 percent. A 20,000-lb conventional trailer can therefore place roughly 2,000–3,000 lb on the hitch before occupants, cargo and hitch hardware are added.
The guide says hitch load cannot cause the truck to exceed GVWR or rear GAWR. Check the certification label, tire-and-loading label, installed hitch documentation and loaded scale tickets. A 32,000-, 35,500- or 36,000-lb trailer rating does not prove that a particular completed truck has enough remaining payload.
A repeatable way to identify the correct 2025 row
Start with the 2025 model year, then record cab, bed, 2WD or 4x4, SRW or DRW, gas or Duramax, wheel size, trim, hitch and Max Trailering equipment. For the top Regular Cab dually, keep the gooseneck and fifth-wheel values separate even after the truck configuration matches.
Use a VIN-linked build record for factory equipment, the door certification and tire labels for loaded-truck limits, the hitch label for coupling limits and scale tickets for actual axle and combination weights. A Duramax badge, dually fenders or a model-line brochure headline cannot prove the full chain.
